Welcome to Elastic

In this video, we’ll learn how to use Quick Order mode.

By now, you’ve watched both the Dashboard and Order Creation videos from your toolkit.

You understand your ordering options, and you are ready to start building an order in Quick mode.

As a reminder, This mode is great for reorders and simple orders with just a few products.

(text: Use Standard Order Mode for more complex assortments.)

Let’s get started on creating this order.  From the get started menu on your dashboard, select “place an order”.  Then Select a catalog, name your order, and select quick order mode.

Now, If you know exactly what you want, and that product is in stock, your job is pretty easy.

You can quickly search the product name, add some units, and checkout.

But let’s face it, most orders aren’t that simple.

So let’s understand the capabilities of this mode a little further so we can build slightly more complex orders with a few products.

Let’s take a look at the details of this screen.

On the left, we have filters

At the top, we have our cart controls

The main body displays the catalog contents or product line.

And, Here, in the top right, we have our Cart totals

A few steps ago, we selected the “at once” catalog, so the main body is currently displaying the full and unfiltered at once catalog contents.

You can filter down the product line using keywords, brand category filters, or even custom catalog filters.

Once a filter has been activated, the contents displayed in the main body will be edited down, making it simpler to find what you’re looking for.

Once you find what you are looking for, you can begin to add products to your order.

You can add a product to your cart by entering units here, or add it to your cart without units by clicking the “add to cart” button.

Your cart totals will display here, and show you how many products and/or units you have in your cart.

If you need more product details to confirm your selection, you can click ‘more details’ for the Product detail page.  You can even add products to your cart from this detail page.

Your shipping date controls are here.

Inventory availability is shown in the color coded boxes next to the unit entry fields.  ..

This information displays based on the date you have selected.  If a product is currently out of stock but has future availability, you can see that future availability by clicking here.  You can then adjust the ship date and the access to that inventory will update.

To create multiple ship dates, click the + icon to add cart tabs.  Each tab can have a different start ship date and will initiate a separate PO.  You can add as many as you like.

To check your cart contents, at any time, click on the cart totals button and you will be taken to an overview screen.

Here, check your product totals and grand totals.

Add or adjust units by clicking on the pencil icon.

If you realize at this point you need to add another product to your order, you can click the back button at any time to head back to your main order entry screen.

When you are satisfied with your order, proceed to checkout and finalize your order details.

(select a ship to, enter po number, select shipping method, and checkout.

If you are not ready to submit your order, save your order by selecting save from the menu drop down.

Weather submitted or saved for later, You can find that order later in your order widget from the dashboard.
