Throughout the Elastic Suite sites, you may come across many Elastic specific terms. Below is a list of some of the most common terms and their meanings.


Dashboard - Your Dashboard contains several widgets that allow you to manage and view your orders, create Collections and manage your Print Jobs. You can access your Dashboard by either clicking the 'Manage' menu or selecting 'Dashboard'. 


Standard Order The standard order mode allows you to create a product assortment on the color/style level and enter quantities later. It allows you to easily view product details, technical specifications and alternate images. This order mode is recommended for line showings, Prebook orders and assortment building type scenarios. You can switch between both order modes from the Menu. 


Quick OrderThe quick order mode is useful, when you want to immediately enter quantities at the size level. It can be useful for ASAP, at once and refill orders. 


Collections (formerly Custom Catalogs) - A Collection is a user-created workbook. It allows the creator to showcase different product assortments, assets and recommended orders. These Collections can be converted to PDFs or used as a product filter within Elastic Suite.


Print Job - An end result of a process that converts an Order or Custom Catalog into a downloadable PDF.  


Whiteboard - A Whiteboard is a visual representation of a product assortment. It can be a valuable tool for visual merchandising, simple store layout planning, and presentation purposes.
